The 2008 AHS Girls Weightlifting Team will be busier than ever this season. The Wildcats will face Arnold, Marianna, Graceville, Chiles, Lincoln, and Wakulla in regular season meets. Not to mention facing the bigger schools such as Mosley, Rutherford, Leon, Bay and Godby in state qualifiers. Things get under way on Monday, December 3rd as the Wildcats travel to Arnold High School to face the Marlins. On the line will be 3 straight undefeated seasons. The season will really take off in January with 3 qualifying meets as well as the Cougar Challenge. The girls have been training hard preparing for the season and will look to keep the winning streak alive as well as qualifying as many lifters as possible for the 2008 State Finals. |
