The wildcats proved to be stronger than the tigers of Graceville with a 69-16 win. Altha won all 10 weight classes at the meet. With Christmas looming, the girls can sense the qualifiers approaching. It will take a lot of hard work from here on out, but their may be a few girls on this years team who will have a shot at a state medal this year. KK Beauchamp, Carrie Tucker, and Stephanie Mayo may be in the medal hunt come February. If you look at this years team, you only see two seniors and one junior. Everyone else is a sophomore or younger. The future looks bright for the Wildcats. Will the brightness begin in February, or will we have to wait another year? |
