The self proclaimed lady spartans opened the season on a good note with a win over Arnold and Bozeman High Schools on Monday, December 10th. The final score of the meet was Altha-57 Bozeman-25 Arnold-20. The wildcats won in dominating fashion showing superior technique. Hali Smith, KK Beauchamp, Carrie Tucker, Stephanie Mayo, Serena Bradford, Mallory Basford, and Dakota Varnum all won their weight class. The wildcats will compete against Graceville and Marianna in the next two weeks before christmas holidays. The girls continue to train hard as we get ready for the qualifiers in January. Will there be another medal drought this year, or will a girl step up and bring home a medal? This question will be answered in a couple of months. The 2008 state finals will be held in New Port Richey on February 9th. |
