Kaitlyn Penney is currently the #1 ranked girl in Section 2 Girls Weightlifting. If Penney can maintain her first place ranking after qualifying meets on 1/23 and 1/25, she will be the 2007 Section 2 Champion in the 129 pound weight class. Penney is one of the hardest workers, if not the hardest working lifters at Altha. No one would deserve it more. Stay tuned to see if she joins the likes of Ashlee Cain, Courtney Beauchamp, and Kathryn Nichols as Section Champion!
